Thank you to everyone who accepted our invitation to attend the annual SFA meeting (in conjunction with the annual ISAPP meeting) in Chicago, USA this June 27-29.

Arrival:
The formal meeting begins first thing in the morning (9:00 a.m.) on June 27 with an official welcome and 3 minute member introductions. We will be hosting a welcome reception/social event on the evening of June 26. We expect almost everyone to be arriving on June 26.
Accommodations:
As an SFA attendee, your accommodations are covered for the duration of the meeting. We kindly remind you that rooms have already been pre-booked and paid for at Freehand Chicago Hotel for the nights of June 26, 27, and 28, as it was stated in your acceptance letter. The rooms will be shared. Check in is after 15h, and check out is before 12h. Should you require additional accommodations you should contact the hotel directly.

Travel:
In your acceptance letter, you were granted a $250 (for intracontinental travel) or $450 (for overseas travel) USD travel award. These awards are conditional on you attending the meeting and submitting receipts and boarding passes for reimbursement, so please keep them . Should you have any questions about the travel award, please contact us.
Meals (please RSVP):
Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements or if you won’t be attending some of the lunches/dinners. Lunch on June 27, 28 and 29 will be provided as part of the ISAPP meeting. Dinner on June 28 is also included (please don't forget to let us know whether you're attending before June 2nd!). Other meals are optional and at your own expense.
3 minute presentations (please send slide):
You will have 3 minutes and one slide to introduce yourself and present the topic of your work. Please send your slide to isappsfa99@gmail.com before Friday June 2nd so we can have them ready on the computer. Give a general overview of what you do, and tell us an interesting fact or two about yourself :)
Posters and poster printing in Chicago:
Everyone accepted to the meeting will be presenting a poster to the ISAPP and SFA attendees. The poster boards can accommodate a maximum of 4x4 feet, so any poster fitting within those dimensions is acceptable! The poster session will be judged with awards for top presenters.
