Our 2025 meeting will be in Banff, Canada (July 15-17, 2025). Please submit your abstract here. Abstract submission deadline is January 25th 2025 (Midnight, GMT+0).

The 2025 ISAPP meeting will feature discussions on the health benefits of microbially-produced metabolites within postbiotics and fermented foods, optimizing host responses to biotic interventions, and the application of biotics in precision nutrition approaches. Experts will also tackle the potential of prebiotics and synbiotics to support the efficacy of live biotherapeutic products, and possible gut microbiota interventions following C-section delivery.

The SFA program will begin first thing on the morning of July 15th. Please plan your arrival for July 14th to allow for transfer from Calgary airport to Banff. Accommodation is provided for nights of the 14th, 15th and 16th of July. The full program is under development.

In order to submit an absract you are required to be a registered member of the ISAPP-SFA. You can register to become a member and join our mailing list here.

We will be offering travel grants of up to $350, $950 and $1500 USD for continental, intercontinental and LMIC travel to help offset the cost of travel. Claiming this travel award will require proof of payment of flights and can only be claimed after the conference.

Our venue for the ISAPP meeting will be the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, a learning organization with a legacy of artistic and creative development situated in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
